CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
I don't know how to add a replay button on Flash CS5. There seems to be loads of tutorials for all the older versions of Flash but I can't find a simple tutorial for this version (bare in mind I'm a beginner on Flash so tutorials that say 'oh hey, it's just like on Flash CS3/4 but you do this instead of this' mean NOTHING to me :iconimsadplz:
Rant over.
EDIT Thank you ~sumangal16 for the tip :) I have added a play button at the start which kind of acts as a replay button too. I'm still open to other methods of suggestions of adding a replay button ^^
/EDIT

Anyway. Here's my OC, Imogen, accidentally turning her pet hamster into a boy. Silly Immy. Anyway, Imogen is a magician (and a pretty lousy one) until one day she actually gains REAL magical powers, so she becomes an even WORSE magician.

I just got an idea for replay button :

just move the button to last frame

the code will be same except instead of gotoAndPlay(2); put gotoAndPlay(1);

alsochange the text of the button to "replay"

you can either move the button or create a new one '
so that the movie doesn't start itself

Hmm, I tried it (with and without the play button at the start) but it just doesn't stop on the last frame and keeps looping...:confused:

you need to put a keyframe and put actionscript on that keyframe (on the last frame)

Ah, I figired it out; I didn't realise how important it was to put 'button_1' in the instance name. I will now go and put replay buttons on all my older animations :D Thank you!
